I honestly didn’t expect this cooling vest to make such a big difference! My black Staffy struggles with the heat and starts slowing down as soon as the temperature goes above 20°C (68°F), constantly looking for shade. Since wearing the cooling vest, the improvement has been obvious. He keeps a better pace on walks, has more stamina, and his breathing is much more relaxed. You can really tell that he’s more comfortable and that the vest provides significant relief. For reference, 2XL fits my 19 kg (42 lb) Staffy perfectly!

My rescue dog is from Cyprus and she loves the sun, but she gets far too hot. Got her this coat to help keep her cool. She now sits out without panting . She seems very at ease wearing it and the fit is great , covers all her body. She is medium beagle size wearing 2 XL. I would definitely recommend.

I was honestly surprised by how well this cooling vest worked for my French Bulldog. My boy loves hanging out on the porch with me, but he usually starts breathing heavily pretty quickly in the heat. Before I put the vest on him, he was panting hard, and within just a few minutes of wearing it, his breathing noticeably calmed down. The vest is lightweight, easy to put on, and doesn’t seem to bother him at all. He was able to relax and stay outside longer without looking uncomfortable. As the owner of a brachycephalic breed, I’m always cautious about heat, so anything that helps keep him cooler is a huge plus. He doesn’t seem to mind the hind-leg straps, but I choose not to use them because they sit a little too close for my comfort. With a male dog, I’d rather not risk any rubbing or irritation in that area. Fortunately, the vest works great without them. So far, I’m very happy with this purchase and would recommend it to anyone with a dog that struggles in warm weather. Bonus: It looks pretty handsome on him, too!

Maddy loves her cooling vest! It does seem to keep her cooler on walks than without it! She doesn't pant nearly as much while walking in the heat with her cooling vest on. She is a ~65lb pittie and we got the 3XL, it fits pretty well but seems a tad oversized, I think we could have gone with the 2XL for a more snug fit.

Ahhh, the 4 stages of relaxation! In the Florida heat and being a Husky/German Shepard mix, Bowie had so many things going against him and his love for being outside, right up until we discovered the Spark Paws cooling vest! We’ve tried the mats, we give him ice cubes in his water, have his sprinkler on, and even the kiddie pool for him but he still seems to get over-heated which has even led him to being sick before. I will always recommend this vest, he can go for hours now compared to an hour or so max before we would have to fight him to go back inside. Thank you Spark Paws!

These cooling vests arrived just in time for the heat wave. They are made of a heavier material than the GF pet cooling vest and doesn't hold as much moisture, but they don't become hard and crusty when dry. The GF pet ones also get stinky and I haven't had that problem with the spark paws version yet. I love that it has adjustable clips instead of velcro. I wish they stayed adjusted. The cords slide out loosely after adjusting them. There's also a hole to tuck in the strap which helps. I love that there are reflective strips along the side unlike the competitors. It's a great price for how much work went into this design. The patterns are super cute, too. Watermelon is selling out fast!

Great quality and perfect for summer! It gets pretty hot where we live and this cooling vest has been a lifesaver! Thanos is 103 lbs. and is wearing a size 4XL. There are adjustable straps that snap on each side and adjust back leg bands that secure the vest into place. The back leg bands can be worn on or off. Just wet the vest with water, squeeze the water out and it will be ready to wear.

The cooling vests worked exactly as described. We soaked them in cold water, rung them out, and then periodically re-wet them when feeling dry to the touch. The dogs had access to shade and fresh water, but these cooling vests allowed them to stay outside with us the whole afternoon without overheating. Once again, very impressed with Spark Paws products.

They are wonderful! We always dread Summer with our babies. Our dogs- two sweet, beautiful “mature” pug—mix ladies ☺️ They overheat very easily- we’ve already used these a number of times and they are working so well for my girls! They can spend a longer time outside, and enjoy their lives in the Summer again! I’m about to order two more in a different theme- cherries! 🍒 they already have watermelon 🍉 and look so adorable!
